The Ryder Grill & Kitchen
The Ryder Grill & Kitchen is a 220‑seat restaurant offering a range of menus from a 2‑rosette À la Carte experience, chefs' table and a Sunday Carvery. The restaurant uses a theatre kitchen for open‑view cooking of steaks and roasts. Menus are seasonal, so you will learn to build, cost and deliver menus to guests.
The restaurant operates full‑service, handling up to 300 covers on busy evenings (excluding starters and desserts). Sundays are the busiest day with a carvery menu.
Salary
The on‑target earning potential is £32,427.22 per year, comprising a base salary of £30,789.22 plus a qualified estimate of £1,638.00 in gratuities per annum.
About The Role
This role is 45 hours per week, working from 12 p.m. or 3 p.m. until close, 5 days a week.
This Role Will Include
- Overseeing key services and ensuring a fantastic experience for all guests
- Working with the Restaurant Manager to establish and implement standards of performance within the restaurant
- Ensuring the team is fully briefed and trained
- Creating an environment that promotes employee morale and pride
