The Ryder Grill
The Ryder Grill & Kitchen is a 220 seat restaurant that offers a number of menu options, ranging from our stunning 2 rosette À la Carte menu to chefs table and a Sunday Carvery. The Ryder Grill & Kitchen also benefits from a theatre kitchen where we prepare and cook our steaks and roasts all in view of the guest. Our menus are seasonal so you will learn how we build a menu, cost it and deliver it out to our guests.
The restaurant goes into full service and you will work with the rest of the team to deliver up to 300 covers on busy evenings, not including starters and desserts.
On Sundays we run a carvery menu, Sundays are our busiest day in the restaurant so being on top of your game for this shift will ensure its success.
Salary
The on target earning potential for this role is £32,427.22 annual salary, compromising of a base salary of £30,789.22 plus a qualified estimate of £1,638.00 gratuities per annum
About the role
This role is 45 hours per week, from 12 or 3pm until close, 5 days out of seven.
This role will include:
- Overseeing key services and ensuring a fantastic experience for all of our guests
- Working with the Restaurant Manager to establish and implement standards of performance within the Restaurant
- Ensuring the team is fully briefed and trained
- Creating an environment which promotes employee morale and pride
