Overview
The Belfry Hotel & Resort is an award-winning hotel with 300+ bedrooms, several restaurants and bars, events and meetings spaces, a leisure club and spa. The Brabazon Bar is the heart of the resort, serving light dishes and coffees during the day and cocktails in the evening, with live music at the weekend. The role involves late-night shifts and weekend work.
Base pay range
The on-target earnings potential for this role is £13.10 – £14.40 hourly, comprising a base hourly rate of £12.21 – £13.51 plus an estimated £0.89 in gratuities per hour. The above rates include additional pay for late-night hours (12am – 6am).
About the role
Successful candidates will be required to work weekends, with shifts from 11pm – 7:30am.
Responsibilities
- Your duties will include all those of a bartender
- Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
- Deliver a great experience from beginning to end
- Confidently talk about menus, upsell, and engage with guests
- Take orders, proactively ensure guests’ needs are met
- Maintain cleaning and good hygiene practices
About you
Previous experience in a busy bar or restaurant is preferred, but not required. The team will train you to develop the necessary skills. If you have experience, it will be valued and built upon.
