We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. This is a varied and rewarding role that will involve:

  • Delivering small group interventions to support pupils' progress
  • Covering whole classes for PPA time and teacher absence
  • Providing targeted support for pupils with SEND
  • Working closely with teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and confident leading learning independently.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Be able to use initiative and work independently when required
  • Be a clear and effective communicator with pupils, staff and parents
  • Have experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary setting
  • Demonstrate a positive, flexible and proactive approach
  • Have an interest or strengths in specific curriculum areas (desirable)
  • Have GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4+ or equivalent (HLTA qualification is not necessary)
