We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. This is a varied and rewarding role that will involve:
- Delivering small group interventions to support pupils' progress
- Covering whole classes for PPA time and teacher absence
- Providing targeted support for pupils with SEND
- Working closely with teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and confident leading learning independently.
Qualifications and Skills
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Be able to use initiative and work independently when required
- Be a clear and effective communicator with pupils, staff and parents
- Have experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary setting
- Demonstrate a positive, flexible and proactive approach
- Have an interest or strengths in specific curriculum areas (desirable)
- Have GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4+ or equivalent (HLTA qualification is not necessary)
