Engineering Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement of engineering parts, materials, and hired equipment to support operational efficiency.
- Produce and communicate daily engineering schedules, ensuring alignment with site priorities and management expectations.
- Raise, track, and manage purchase orders in line with engineering requirements and budget controls.
- Attend engineering meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow‑up of actions.
- Maintain accurate records of completed works through timely logging of job sheets and updates to tracking systems.
- Arrange preventative servicing and maintenance of machinery, minimising downtime and extending asset life.
- Maintain engineering spend trackers, supporting cost control and financial transparency.
- Manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system, ensuring all activities are scheduled and completed within deadlines.
- Maintain strict control of site keys and access to engineering‑critical assets.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers on orders, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the General Manager as required.
- Coordinate fabrication activities and maintain accurate progress tracking.
- Actively support site audits, ensuring engineering documentation is accurate, up to date, and audit‑ready.
