About the Role
As a Pasteurisation Operative, you’ll play a key role in bringing our ice cream to life. Working at the start of the production process, you’ll carefully blend milk, cream and ingredients to create high‑quality mixes ready for production. This is a hands‑on role where precision, teamwork and pride in your work make all the difference. You’ll be on your feet and lifting throughout the shift, so you must be comfortable with physical work.
Location: Tattenhall, Cheshire
Hours of work
Rotation shifts – 46 hours per week
Week 1: 05:00 – 14:45
Week 2: 14:30 – 00:15

£13.50 per hour
What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing mixes in line with production plans and recipes
- Weighing and preparing ingredients with accuracy
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping
- Ensuring all products meet quality and food safety standards
- Following procedures for critical control points (CCPs) and food safety
- Completing production records clearly to ensure full traceability
- Monitoring stock rotation (FIFO) and highlighting any issues
- Reporting equipment or process faults promptly
- Supporting the wider team and contributing to continuous improvement
- Adhering to health and safety and COSHH regulations

- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes
