We are looking for a Lecturer in Counselling to join us at Tresham College. As a Lecturer you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
Preparing, delivering and assessing students on a range of courses and levels
Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their full potential
Managing students learning and provide a high-quality learning experience
Contributing proactively to development of the department’s curriculum
Ensuring all Statutory requirements, policies and procedures are in place and effectively communicated, implemented and followed by all employees of TBCG
Carrying out all aspects of the role in line with TBCG culture and values
Ensuring the student experience is kept at the heart of everything you do
Current counselling practitioner with 2 years’ supervised counselling practice or minimum 450 counselling hours
Supervision qualification or 1 year experience of providing supervision in a counselling setting
Minimum of 420 hours therapeutic counselling qualification at level 4 or above
Person-centred practitioner
Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
Evidence of own personal therapy 10+ hours
30 hours per year CPD
Relevant qualification within the required subject specialism at a minimum of one level above the level to be taught
L3 PTTLS or equivalent
A recognised Level 5 teaching qualification, for example PGCE/Cert Ed/Diploma in Education and Training
