The Bedford College Group is currently seeking an English Lecturer to join our Maths and English Department at Bedford College, Cauldwell Street campus.
Location: Bedford College, Cauldwell Street
Role: English Lecturer
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing, delivering, and assessing English courses across various levels.
- Supporting students to achieve success and reach their potential.
- Managing students’ learning experiences and providing high-quality instruction.
- Participating in curriculum development and innovative teaching initiatives.
- Engaging in marketing and promotional activities for our programs.
Candidate requirements:
- Relevant degree and/or Level 5 qualification in English.
- Certificate in Education/PGCE or equivalent, or willingness to obtain.
- English and mathematics at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent.
- Experience in meeting deadlines and monitoring student progress.
- Ability to develop engaging learning materials and promote inclusivity.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and vulnerable groups.
