Role: Lecturer β Electrical Installation and T Levels
Location: Central Bedfordshire College β The Incuba Dunstable
Salary/Benefits: Salary is between Β£31,930 and Β£36,878 DOE and Qualifications, 45 days annual leave, Teacherβs pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installation and T Levels to join our Construction and Building Services department at The Bedford College group.
As a Lecturer, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
- Teaching and Curriculum β Prepare, deliver, assess, and verify courses; contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching.
- Student Support β Guide and support students; carry out tutorials; monitor progress; provide pastoral care.
- Administration and Quality Assurance β Complete administrative tasks; maintain records; implement quality processes; participate in team meetings.
- Marketing and Promotion β Participate in marketing activities; interview potential students; support open days and events.
- Compliance and Development β Promote safeguarding, equality, and diversity; follow health and safety requirements; participate in training and development.
About you:
- Qualifications and Knowledge β Level 3 trade qualification, knowledge of CG 8202-30, 2391-52, 2365-02, 18th Edition, JIB Gold card., Level 3 in Education and Training, GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
- Experience β Teaching or industry experience, knowledge of UK Building Services, working with diverse backgrounds, promoting equality and diversity, high performance in previous roles.
- Skills β Organisational skills, positive working relationships, teamwork, interpersonal and influencing skills, effective communication, high-quality learning support, health and safety awareness.
- Attributes β Commitment to values, professional conduct, welcoming environment, continuous skill and knowledge updates, flexible work approach, safeguarding responsibilities, maintaining professional boundaries.
- Flexibility and Mobility β Willingness to work at various locations, adapt working hours, travel as needed.
