About The Role
We are currently seeking two Human Resources Coordinators to join our Human Resources and Payroll department at the Bedford College Group. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
- HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Support – Deliver efficient, accurate administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes and general HR processes to ensure a consistent, high‑quality HR service.
- Systems, Data Management & Reporting – Maintain and update HR systems with excellent accuracy, support audits and reporting cycles, ensure GDPR compliance and contribute to continuous improvement of HR data and processes.
- Compliance, Records & Governance – Keep personnel files secure and compliant, support statutory returns and internal data requests, and uphold safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and confidentiality expectations at all times.
- Teamwork, Collaboration & Customer Service – Act as a professional first point of contact for routine HR enquiries, collaborate across the HR team, share best practice and support HR projects and college‑wide activities.
- Professional Responsibilities & Flexibility – Meet personal and team objectives, complete mandatory training, attend meetings and events, provide flexible support during busy periods and contribute to a positive, respectful HR team culture.
About You
- Qualifications & Core Competencies – Holds GCSE English and Maths (A–C / Level 2) and a relevant Level 3 qualification, with strong numeracy, literacy and IT capability across Microsoft Office systems.
- Administrative & Office Experience – Experienced working in busy, high‑pressure office environments, handling multiple queries, managing computerised systems and maintaining confidentiality with sensitive data.
- Organisation, Accuracy & Analytical Skills – Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads, maintain excellent accuracy and attention to detail, analyse information effectively and meet required standards and deadlines.
- Communication, Customer Service & Relationships – Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities, able to build professional relationships and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Professional Conduct, Flexibility & Safeguarding – Works in line with TBCG values and policies, committed to continuous development, able to travel across campuses, adapt working hours when needed and maintain appropriate boundaries with young people and adults.
