Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £25,585 and £30,915 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

About The Role
- Learner Support & Progress: Provide in-class and small-group support in English and Maths, helping learners build understanding, confidence, and independence.
- Inclusive Practice & SEND Support: Support learners with additional needs (including EHCPs) to ensure inclusive participation and equal access to learning.
- Teaching & Learning Support: Assist tutors with preparing resources, delivering activities, and supporting assessments and progress tracking.
- Engagement, Behaviour & Attendance: Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and punctuality, encouraging learners to take ownership of their development.
- Collaboration, Systems & Compliance: Work with staff to support learner success, use digital systems effectively, and maintain confidentiality while adhering to policies and professional standards.
About You
- Qualifications & Training: GCSEs in English and Maths with a Level 3 qualification; Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2+) desirable.
- Education Experience: Experience supporting learners in education, ideally within Further Education and GCSE/Functional Skills environments.
- Core Skills & SEND Support: Strong communication, teamwork, and IT skills, with the ability to support teaching and learners with additional needs.
- Personal Attributes & Approach: Flexible, learner-focused, and professional, with a strong commitment to inclusion and equality.
- Compliance & Development: Willingness to undertake training, enhanced DBS clearance, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
