Location: Dunstable Campus

Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £29,361 and £34,394 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year

Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time

About The Role

  • FE Data Quality & Compliance - Lead the monitoring and improvement of FE data quality, ensuring student and curriculum data is accurate, complete, compliant with funding rules, and audit ready.
  • Audit & Funding Assurance - Support audit preparation and funding compliance activities through data validation, evidence checking, issue resolution, and adherence to ILR requirements.
  • Timetabling & Operational Management - Oversee the production and maintenance of timetables, room allocations, registers and enrolment data, ensuring efficient and accurate operational delivery.
  • Data Insight & Continuous Improvement - Analyse data trends and risks to support decision‑making, curriculum planning and target setting, while driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Support - Work closely with curriculum teams, managers and MIS colleagues to provide guidance, maintain data standards, share best practice and support consistent delivery across the college.

About You

  • Qualifications & Professional Development - Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) with a commitment to maintaining and developing knowledge, skills and professional competence.
  • Knowledge & Data Management Experience - Demonstrate experience of working accurately with data in a structured environment, with an understanding of data quality, compliance requirements and meeting deadlines.
  • Technical, Analytical & Organisational Skills - Apply strong analytical, IT, organisational and problem‑solving skills to manage workloads effectively, maintain accuracy and support operational delivery.
  • Communication & Professional Attributes - Display professionalism, integrity and attention to detail, while communicating effectively and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
