Salary / Benefits: £30,915 to £41,085 per annum (pro‑rata) DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave (pro‑rata) plus bank holidays, People’s Pension, retail and leisure discounts, professional and personal development opportunities, access to college courses.
Hours / Weeks: 22.5 hours per week – 52 weeks per year

About The Role
- Work‑Based Learning Delivery & Coordination: Coordinate training and deliver knowledge and competence components for work‑based learners, ensuring high‑quality induction, delivery and ongoing support.
- Assessment, Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct regular workplace assessments and reviews, provide robust feedback, set SMART targets, and ensure evidence meets awarding body standards and audit requirements.
- Learner Progress & Record Management: Maintain accurate tracking systems, individual learning plans and assessment records to evidence enrolment, attendance, contact, progress and achievement.
- Employer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with employers, tutors and support teams, providing regular progress updates, organising visits and referring business leads where appropriate.
- Compliance, Values & Professional Practice: Uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity, health & safety and confidentiality requirements, engage in CPD, support IQA processes and contribute positively to team and curriculum development.
About You
- Qualifications & Sector Expertise: Level 3+ qualification in a relevant sector specialism, TAQA qualifications (Level 3 and 4 or equivalent), AET/ET qualification, GCSE English and maths (or willingness to achieve Level 2), with strong sector and NVQ Level 3 assessment experience.
- Assessment, Training & Learner Support: Proven ability to deliver sector‑relevant training, assess competently, provide high‑quality feedback and support learners effectively across face‑to‑face, telephone and digital methods.
- Professional Practice & Performance: Demonstrated high performance, strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, work under pressure and consistently deliver a high‑quality learner experience.
- Communication, Relationships & Teamwork: Confident IT user with strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport, maintain effective working relationships, work with diverse groups and contribute positively to team success.
