Are you passionate about teaching music? Would you like to be part of a dynamic team that makes a lasting impact on students across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire? We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic String teacher who will take pride in being part of a team of music tutors, delivering excellent lessons across our Catholic Academies. You will have a proven track record and the ability to deliver engaging small lessons and have good knowledge and experience of teaching whole class music across all primary school key stages. This position is available from April 2026 on a casual basis, pending completion of pre‑employment checks.
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi‑Academy Trust brings together 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire. You will support schools across the Trust, working closely with both primary and secondary students. You will have the opportunity to grow instrumental lessons over time.
You Will
- Have previous experience working as a teacher within both a Primary & Secondary School setting.
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years, KS1 to KS2 music curriculum.
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
- Have a passion for working with young people.
- Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
- Use innovative and resourceful teaching methods.
- Be able to teach Music up to and including Grade 8.
