Our Lady of Lincoln Catholic Voluntary Academy are looking for a resilient and committed Pastoral and Attendance Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of our pupils within a welcoming school environment grounded in Catholic virtues. This fixed term position is available until August 2027, and you will be working part time, for 22 hours and 30 minutes per week during the term time only.

We are part of Our Lady of Our Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together 36 Catholic primary and secondary schools in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

As Our Pastoral And Attendance Assistant, You Will:

  • Play a role in fostering students' well-being and academic success.
  • Work closely with the Headteacher and external agencies.
  • Design and implement tailored support programmes to improve behaviour, attitudes, and engagement.
  • Develop one-to-one mentoring relationships and group interventions to support students' learning and personal development.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and enhance social and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with the smooth transition of students at key stages in their educational journey.
  • Maintain accurate records, including safeguarding-related actions, and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
