As a cover supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring students have a high-quality learning experience when their usual teacher is away from school. You will manage classroom behaviour to ensure pupils stay on task and facilitate activities designed by teaching staff to ensure students complete the work in an effective learning environment.

This role offers you the chance to step in and lead lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, primarily for KS3 and KS4 students, with occasional work at KS5. You’ll also have the opportunity to make a broader contribution across the Academy. This is a permanent, term-time role starting from September 2026, working 32.5 hours per week, term time only.
