We are currently looking for outstanding talent to help us take The Beaumont to the next level. You will be part of a dynamic Housekeeping Team. We are looking to appoint a new House Porter to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our guest floors. You will need to be organised and efficient and work well as part of a wider team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all linen are clean and in good condition at all times and to ensure that they are correctly counted and documented.
- To be responsible for linen within the hotel and in transit to and from the laundry; to have strict control of all linen in circulation at all times.
- To handle any guest complaints promptly and with follow up, referring to others when necessary.
- To move and lift beds, cots, bed boards, furniture and fittings as required and instructed by the supervisor.
- Deal with guest enquiries and requirements in an efficient manner.
- Assist stock taking as required by Manager or Supervisor.
- Working and communicating with colleagues very closely on a daily basis.
- Have the ability to communicate with guests and peers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Be self-motivated and flexible.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
