Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic people to join our brand new team and help us build an excellent reputation at The Jekyll & Hyde. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organised dining and bar area. There are a lot of opportunities to progress quickly for the right people.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations when needed.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Assist with food preparation as required, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to provide solutions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality throughout each shift.
• Opening & closing the pub.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Experience in food preparation or bartending is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• A team player who can also work independently when required.
• Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
