We are delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic, proactive, experienced sales professional. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will employ your proven sales expertise, outstanding communication skills and fresh ideas to actively drive business to the hotel. This is a proactive role, ideal for a self-motivated and passionate individual with a proven track record in sales and a can-do attitude.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and a positive, flexible approach to work. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue while nurturing and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will take full accountability for achieving sales targets by promoting event spaces and transient business, focusing on the local corporate market, business travel agents, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) agents.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies and initiatives to retain market share, attract new business, and maximize revenue across these key markets.

Essential Criteria:

  • 2 years+ proactive sales experience
  • Clean driving licence and access to own car

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of luxury hotels / hospitality environment
  • Knowledge and experience of hotel PMS systems
  • Aware of the local corporate market and venue finding agents that are booking Belfast
