WE HAVE AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A NEW TEAM MEMBER TO JOIN OUR BAR SERVICE STAFF
Working behind a bar is much more than merely serving drinks. Remember you are the face of the pub, you are the first thing a customer sees when they come in, itβs your interaction with the customer that sets the tone of that customers experience of their visit.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
β’ Preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
β’ Using a till and PDQ machine to process payments by cash and card
β’ Checking customers identification and age verification
β’ Engaging with customers and advising them about current promotions
β’ Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards
β’ Monitoring and replenishing stock levels as required
β’ Clearing tables, wiping surfaces, so customer areas are welcoming and inviting
β’ Operating the dishwasher to ensure ample glassware is available
β’ Checking the W.C. facilities hourly to maintain hygiene standards
β’ Changing draft kegs as and when required observing good cellar management
