BBQ Crew (Part time – average 10-12 hours)
Due to the nature of the role you must be over 16 years old to apply.
If you can drive, and fancy working in our sister site over in Stroud too then that\’s a bonus, but NOT essential!
An exciting position has opened at Gloucester’s favourite and original BBQ takeaway. The takeaway launched only 4 years ago in our home kitchen and has gone from strength to strength ever since. We have a kitchen based in Morelands Trading Estate and Stroud, Five Valleys Shopping Centre, with plans for expansion over the next couple years.
We are looking for someone who is as enthusiastic and passionate about food/BBQ as us. You must be hardworking, willing to learn and good at working in a fast paced environment. In return for your hard work, you will receive above the average wage and receive a free meal every shift, regardless of the hours you work!
The BBQ Society is a small, family run business. No corporate cr*p, just great quality food, no expense spared. You’ll be working very closely with us, and assist us with menu development – this means you will probably end up eating a lot of food but someone’s gotta do it?
Your role as BBQ crew will have you undertaking various tasks from smashing patties, serving customers, washing up, smoking meats and food preparation.
Requirements
You must have:
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for learning new skills and cooking techniques
- Passionate about food
- Well presented at all times with clean uniform
- Excellent timekeeping and very reliable
Shift patterns
These are approximate shifts, actual times may differ week-to-week, and overtime will be available time-to-time.
- Friday 18:00 – 22:30
- Saturday 17:00 – 22:30
- Sunday: 18:00 – 22:30
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.00-£12.50 per hour
