Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Sous Chef to join The BBQ Hut team. In this vital role, you will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. Your expertise in charcoal grilling and collaboration with the kitchen staff will be essential for maintaining our standards of excellence. Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the efficient preparation and presentation of dishes.
Maintain the quality and consistency of all food items, adhering to the restaurant\’s standards and specifications.
Lead and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging skill development in cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while maintaining traditional flavors.
Monitor inventory levels, assist in stock management, and coordinate ordering supplies to minimize waste.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, with a strong focus on charcoal grilling techniques, ensuring optimal flavour and presentation.
Address any kitchen issues that arise during service, ensuring a smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Facilitate effective communication between kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to coordinate timely service
Qualification : Any hotel Management degree or Diploma will be a plus
Experience : Required 4 – 5 Years
Salary : £38,800 (Per Annum)
