BBC STUDIOS is looking for an experienced Senior Edit Producer for a returning prime‐time entertainment show. The role will involve:
- Scheduling and managing multiple suites, to keep the edit running as efficiently as possible.
- Working with production and forward planning to ensure the shoots and rushes are scheduled effectively from an edit point of view.
- Assisting and briefing shooters on what is needed, being a central point of communication between the edit and those out on location.
- Staying across story lines and working with the live team to ensure we are building the strongest narrative.
- Coming up with creative VT ideas and working closely alongside the SP and forward planning team to execute the VTs.
- Occasionally jumping into a suite to help pull rushes / cut VTs during busy periods.
- Managing edit APs, keeping a close eye on budget, archive and music.
The ideal candidate will be used to working to tight deadlines, be creative, organised, self‐starting and have experience in running a team. It would be an added bonus if you have come from a shooting / directing background.
