The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. We're happy to discuss flexible working. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

PURPOSE OF THE ROL Join the Insight team at BBC Children in Need for the opportunity to develop insight that will influence the work that we do right across the charity. As Senior Research Executive, you'll play a key role bringing the voice
of our audiences into the charity, monitoring the landscape for children and young people, and helping us keep track of what's happening in the outside world.

The team partners with colleagues right across the charity with a focus on helping them insight-based decisions. You will join at an exciting time, with the opportunity to directly monitor and report on the impact of our annual Appeal with audiences.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT

Supporting the Monitoring and Evaluation of our Annual Appeal by producing broadcast income updates, supporting our audience research and supporting the production of our Appeal debriefs. Creating Insight Outputs such as summaries of external reports, reviews of external trends and briefings on the landscape of need for children. Conducting Desk Research and Analysis to inform the
broader work of the Insight team such as brand reviews and impact reports. Supporting Knowledge Management and Sharing by championing and maintaining the Insight Hub and managing Insight sessions and bulletins. Research Project Support, assisting with external qualitative and quantitative research projects as well as internal staff surveys.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: An understanding of quantitative research, qualitative research and data analysis. Good quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to work creatively with existing data sources. Experience of conducting desk research and distilling large reports into key insights. Good presentation skills, with the ability to develop engaging insight stories via Powerpoint. Experience of developing and using audience insights and communicating them in an engaging way.
