We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to lead the front‑of‑house across our two dining outlets – The Pantry Restaurant (relaxed, seasonal dining) and The Priory Restaurant (fine dining for breakfast, afternoon tea, and celebratory dinners). You’ll also oversee meetings and events operations and room service to ensure every guest experience is seamless and memorable.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the front‑of‑house team, creating a confident and warm environment.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day operations of both restaurants, manage staffing, and ensure service standards.
- Recruit, train and develop staff to maintain high service quality.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and senior management to shape the guest journey.
- Ensure effective communication across departments and support cross‑departmental teamwork.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu to advise guests.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary up to £50,000.
- Approx. £2,500 in service charge & gratuities.

Requirements
- Experience in Michelin or 3‑AA‑rosette environments (preferred).
- Strong wine knowledge and bar/mixology knowledge (plus).
- Proven ability to manage multiple outlets with a commercial mindset.
- Lead‑from‑the‑front operator who is confident, personable and has a background in fine dining and luxury hospitality.
- Understand that great service is effortless, intuitive and never stuffy.

The Bath Priory – part of the Brownsword family of hotels. The hotel is a Georgian house with 33 bedrooms located in Bath, just a short walk from the city centre.
