Fast, accurate, and in charge of your own tasks? We're looking for a Sales Assistant to support our Sales Manager at The Basic Ingredients Ltd, the clean-label food company behind Emma Basic and its promise: "Never Any Additives".
We keep a flat structure and work fast. Everyone has direct access to the MD. You’ll work with genuine autonomy: trusted, respected, and given the budget to keep your skills sharp.
What you’ll do
- 1.Process sales orders and raise invoices and credit notes in SAP Business One
- 2.Monitor deliveries and work with warehouses and logistics to resolve issues
- 3.Flag stock issues every day: overstock, short-dated and out-of-stock items
- 4.Record and follow up complaints, and share customer feedback with the team
- 5.Support the Sales Manager with day-to-day requests
Who you are
- 1.Organised and reliable: you follow things through without being chased
- 2.Sharp on the details: orders, invoices and paperwork right first time
- 3.Fast: you turn orders, samples and queries around quickly, determined to impress with speed and accuracy
- 4.Task owner: once a task is yours, you see it through to the end, and you speak up early if something is going wrong
- 5.Curious about food: ingredients, sustainability and food safety. Knowing BRC and HACCP is a plus, or be ready to learn quickly
What we offer
- 1.Basic annual salary of £26K–£30K, depending on competence
- 2.Year-end bonus based on Company and personal performance
- 4.Workplace pension and 28 days' paid holiday (including bank holidays)
