Our client, a dynamic and rapidly evolving retail business, is looking to hire an Interim CFO to support the CEO in executing the company’s strategic priorities and financial vision. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic finance leader to shape the business’s financial landscape and play a pivotal role in driving performance, growth, and profitability.
As the Interim CFO, you will be responsible for driving business performance, shaping financial strategy, and ensuring the company remains compliant with financial reporting requirements. Key responsibilities include:

We are looking for a commercially minded Interim CFO with a strong understanding of retail businesses. The following experience is required:
- A proven track record as an Interim CFO in a Private Equity backed Retail environment - this is essential and candidates without this experience cannot be considered.
- Extensive experience in retail finance, including strong knowledge of product, inventory, and customer dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to bring change and performance improvements in a turnaround context.
- Experience in upgrading capabilities across people, systems, and processes.
- Leadership skills to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience of working with financial sponsors would be highly beneficial.
Role details:
- Hybrid model with 3-4 days per week on site in Wiltshire.
- Day rate DOE.
- 4 month initial contract.
- Must be available to start from early May.
