Seeking a Financial Controller to join the finance team in London. This is a hands-on role at the core of the finance function, with responsibility for maintaining the integrity of financial reporting across the group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations across the group
- Group reporting and consolidation, including monthly close and management accounts
- Supporting the preparation of board packs and sponsor reporting
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies
- Working closely with local finance teams across multiple jurisdictions to drive consistency and accuracy in reporting
- Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives across the finance function as the business continues to scale
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting skills with demonstrable experience in balance sheet reconciliations, consolidations, and group reporting
- Experience in a multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional environment
- Exposure to PE backed or sponsor backed businesses
- Comfortable operating in a lean finance team where ownership and accountability are expected
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach
- Familiarity with energy, infrastructure, or industrials sectors
