The role… This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven Grocery Account Controller who thrives on building partnerships, leading people, and delivering sustainable growth. You’ll take ownership of key grocery retail accounts, developing and executing joint business plans while driving both revenue and profitability.

Alongside managing customer relationships, you will have direct people management responsibility, coaching and developing team members to build capability, confidence, and future commercial talent within the business. You’ll work cross-functionally with category, supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to deliver best-in-class account management and execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full P&L ownership and strategic management of grocery retail accounts
  • Building and delivering Joint Business Plans aligned with company growth objectives
  • Leading customer negotiations, commercial reviews, and promotional planning
  • Managing, coaching, and developing members of the commercial team

  • Have experience managing grocery retail accounts within FMCG
  • Have people management or leadership experience, or be ready to step into a leadership role
  • Be highly organised, analytical, and commercially minded
  • Have strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Be confident working with data, forecasting, and Excel
  • Be ambitious, proactive, and motivated to grow your career
