About the role The Barrister Group Chambers is growing its Mediation service, and we are looking for a Business Brand Owner to drive it forward.

This is a commercial growth role: your job is to bring in the right work and help it turn into great outcomes for clients and barristers.

You will not be doing this alone.

You will work closely with our VENTRi Q team, who specialise in converting enquiries and delivering the work, with marketing, technology, finance and data support available through the group of companies.

What you'll be responsible for Bringing in more of the right enquiries.

Make sure the people who need our services can find us, improve where our work comes from (search, recommendations, partnerships), and focus on attracting higher-quality work rather than just more of it.

Shaping that work so it turns into revenue.

Work with VENTRi Q to understand which enquiries convert well and which are worth more, then adjust your focus towards higher-value cases and better-targeted clients.

In the early stages you will convert leads yourself to learn what drives customer behaviour.

Growing the service month by month.

Track performance, do more of what is working, and fix what is not.

Being a brand champion for TBG Chambers.

Drive business development through online outreach, help represent the brand in the press and on social with the VENTRi Q team, and recruit the right expert barristers to support conversion and delivery.

How we measure success Rather than a long list of KPIs, we focus on four questions: are we getting enough enquiries, are they the right enquiries, are they turning into revenue, and are customers coming back.

If those four things improve, the business succeeds.

The support you'll have This is not a sink-or-swim role.

You will have the VENTRi Q team (conversion, case handling and customer experience), group marketing to help generate demand, and group data and reporting to give you visibility on performance.

Your job is to use that support to make good commercial decisions.

What we're looking for We are not looking for a finished business brand owner.

We want someone who is curious about how a business works, likes using data to improve performance, takes ownership and follows things through, and wants to build and grow something.

Commercial experience helps, but learning fast matters more.

What success looks like after 6 to 12 months You understand where your enquiries come from and how to improve them, you have shifted the mix towards more valuable work, your revenue is growing steadily, and you can clearly explain what is driving performance.
