We are looking for a highly professional Conference & Banqueting Manager to join our Food & Beverage team at The Barnsdale, Rutland. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong background in weddings and events, with responsibility for ensuring every event is delivered seamlessly from the final planning stages through to execution. The successful candidate will act as the operational lead for the events barn while overseeing the day-to-day operations.
Managing event preparation, stock control, client communication and event delivery while maintaining the highest standards of service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional who is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and delivering outstanding service across our dedicated events barn & hotel. The candidate will show a hands-on approach with the ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
Our hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns of Oakham and Uppingham.
