Are you someone who loves where you live, enjoys meeting people, and always finds the best angle for a beautiful photo? We’re looking for a creative, locally connected individual to bring our hotel to life across social media. This isn’t a corporate desk job. It’s about being present — in the lounge during afternoon tea, at wine tastings, chatting to guests at events, capturing the atmosphere before dinner service, and spotting those little moments that make the hotel special. This role would suit someone local who knows the area, understands the community, and feels genuinely excited about sharing the story of the hotel. You might be semi-retired, working freelance, building a creative portfolio, or simply someone with a passion for photography and storytelling.

Key details:

  • This role is up to 20 hours per week, based out of our gorgeous hotel.
  • You will have access to events, tastings, and special experiences (so you will need to be available to attend our events which may cover occasional evenings and weekends).
  • You will have the chance to shape and grow the hotel’s voice online.
  • Reporting to the hotel General Manager, you’ll get the chance to work in a collaborative and fun team environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Spending time in the hotel each week capturing authentic moments.
  • Attending events, tastings, live music nights, and special occasions.
  • Creating engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok (and beyond).
  • Posting regular Stories and short-form video content.
  • Showcasing the people behind the hotel — team members, chefs, guests (as appropriate).
  • Highlighting seasonal changes, menus, local partnerships, and community events.
  • Writing post captions utilising Signet brand standards and tone of voice.
  • Bringing personality and warmth to our online presence.
  • Engaging with followers and responding to comments/messages.
  • Pulling data for weekly reporting on performance metrics and KPIs.

Who This Role Is Perfect For:

  • Someone local with strong ties to the community.
  • A creative individual with a good eye for photography and video.
  • A natural storyteller who enjoys capturing atmosphere.
  • Someone confident chatting to people and making them feel comfortable on camera.
  • Organised enough to plan content but flexible enough to capture spontaneous moments.
  • Passionate about hospitality, food, events, or local culture.
  • Comfortable using social media platforms and basic editing apps.

You don’t need a formal marketing qualification. We care more about creativity, enthusiasm, and authenticity than corporate experience.

We can offer you:

  • An amazing opportunity of joining and being part of a very exciting adventure.
  • An excellent rate of pay, plus generous tronc to top up your monthly earnings.
  • Discounted rates across our restaurants and hotels for you, family and friends to enjoy.
  • Wagestream - access up to 40% of your pay before pay date, and save directly from your salary.
  • 28 days’ holiday + birthday off (including Bank Holidays).
  • Team recognition programme to celebrate your achievements.
  • Referral bonus scheme for recommending a friend.
  • Complimentary team meals on shift.
  • Long Service Awards - lunches for two with all the trimmings, complimentary room stays with breakfast and dinner, Lion King tickets to the West End, and so much more.
  • Flexibility to move across our Group, as you develop with us.

If you’re passionate, creative, and would enjoy being part of the daily rhythm of the hotel while sharing it with the world, we’d love to hear from you. Please send a short introduction about yourself, links to your social media (if you have them), and a few examples of photos or content you’ve created.
