We are looking for a highly professional Restaurant & Events Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team at The Barnsdale, Rutland. We are seeking an energetic, commercially minded and hands-on Restaurant & Events Supervisor to lead the guest experience across our restaurant, bar, weddings, conferences and special events. This role is responsible for the seamless delivery of food and beverage operations within the hotel, while also overseeing weddings and events hosted within both the main hotel and our dedicated event barn.

The successful candidate will be passionate about hospitality, guest service excellence and team leadership, with the ability to balance operational management, event coordination and revenue generation. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for creating exceptional dining, wedding and event experiences across both the hotel and dedicated event barn, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. The candidate will have the ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.

Our hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns of Oakham and Uppingham.
