We’re looking for a Head Bartender to join the vibrant team at our wonderful Cubitt House Pub. As Head Bartender, you’ll lead the bar team in delivering exceptional drinks experiences, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring every crafted cocktail, perfect pint, and premium serve reflects Cubitt House's high standards. You’ll champion creativity, consistency, and service excellence, creating memorable experiences for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the bar team to deliver world-class service.
  • Oversee daily bar operations, including stock management, rota planning, and workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all drinks, from classic cocktails to premium spirits and craft beers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain relationships and source high-quality ingredients and products.
  • Drive sales performance, monitor KPIs, and manage costs effectively.
  • Train the team in cocktail techniques, drink presentation, and customer service standards.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, licensing, and hygiene standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Head Bartender or senior bartender in a high-quality hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for cocktails, spirits, and craft beverages, with a flair for innovation.
  • Hands-on, adaptable approach with focus on service excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK.
