Job Role
The Office Manager role is to lead an office of Sales team members (circa 16-18 people) and plays a central role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Sales department. This position supports the Sales Leadership Team by coordinating administrative activity, monitoring performance metrics, enhancing operational processes, and ensuring the team is engaged, aligned, and supported. This role acts as the operational backbone of the sales team, enabling sales executives to focus on customer service and revenue generation.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Sales office operations, ensuring call, email, and live chat coverage to deliver excellent customer experience.
- Coordinate team workflow and monitor task progress, escalating issues when required.
- Support sales order processing, liaising with Customer Service, Ops, and Finance.
- Plan resource availability, ensuring effective scheduling of breaks and off phone time.
- Track key performance metrics (quality, conversions to order, call adherence, SLA, accuracy, mis-sells).
- Work with the Head of Internal Sales to reinforce targets and behaviours.
- Maintain KPI dashboards and escalate exceptions.
- Conduct call quality evaluations alongside Key Performance Indicators.
