Our Healthcare and Government Division works closely with NHS, private healthcare and public sector organisations, delivering solutions such as Asset Management, RFID, RTLS, Inventory Management and Patient Safety, supported by strong partnerships with leading global technology vendors. We are looking to appoint a Regional Account Manager with responsibility for managing and growing accounts across the Northern UK region, encompassing the West Midlands and areas northwards.
As a Healthcare Account Manager you will be pivotal in leading regional (North) Healthcare and Government accounts through the sales cycle, developing the account, and the relationship, to secure recurring business.
In this role, you will:
- Own and develop regional customer accounts, acting as the primary contact
- Identify, qualify and progress new opportunities across existing and new customers
- Lead customer engagements through the full sales lifecycle, from discovery through to contract and ongoing account development
- Work closely with the Head of Sales, Healthcare Director and wider Solutions, Business Development and Marketing teams to shape and deliver customer solutions
- Position The Barcode Warehouse as a trusted advisor and long‑term technology partner
- Translate customer challenges, sector policy and operational priorities into value‑led technology solutions
- Maintain a structured, high‑quality sales cadence to ensure consistent engagement and long‑term growth
- Engage with senior stakeholders across clinical, operational, IT, estates, procurement and finance functions
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow a portfolio of Healthcare and Government accounts, identifying and converting new opportunities
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across customer organisations
- Sell a broad portfolio of technology solutions including RFID, RTLS, enterprise hardware, consumables and services
- Support the development of customer business cases, including access to digital and innovation funding
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to convert opportunities into delivered solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing insight‑led, consultative engagement
Experience:
- Proven experience selling technology or solutions within Healthcare, Government, Public Safety or Defence
- Strong understanding of NHS and Government frameworks, funding models and policy drivers
- Experience managing complex sales cycles from prospect to contract
- Confident stakeholder manager with clear, professional communication skills
- Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a close‑knit team
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, NetSuite)
- Passionate about technology and its role in improving operational and frontline outcomes
This is a UK‑based hybrid role with regional responsibility, however travel to customer sites and attendance at training and meetings in our Newark offices will be required.
Salary: starting at £50,000 per annum depending on experience.
