Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer - London

Overview

My client is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team in the London area on a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Perform both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across a variety of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building services to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Adhere to safety procedures and policies, particularly those set by Integral and Amazon.
• Accurate record-keeping of all maintenance activities using the site\’s CAFM system.
• Liaise closely with site management and contractors to minimise disruption to operations and participate in site audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives on site.
• Key requirement: electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (Electrical discipline), which is mandatory and cannot be omitted.

Requirements / Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (mandatory)
• Commercial LV Electrical experience
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
• Fault diagnosis and repair of HVAC systems
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills
• Knowledge of lighting and plumbing systems
• Experience with CAFM systems for maintenance record-keeping
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and compliance
• Ability to liaise effectively with site management and contractors
• Participation in site audits and inspections
• Commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives

Software / Tools

• CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems

Certifications & Standards

• NVQ Level 3 (Electrical Discipline)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Health and Safety compliance knowledge
• Commercial LV Electrical experience
• Full UK Driving license

Salary

This is a permanent position, paying up to 45k.
