We are currently recruiting for electrically biased Shift Leaders to join a critical environment maintenance contract in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and highly organised building services business operating within a datacentre-style environment maintaining landlord critical infrastructure only. The role would suit experienced Shift Engineers or Lead Engineers with a strong critical services background who are confident leading small engineering teams and communicating directly with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • 2 Engineers per shift
  • Operating within a highly critical environment maintaining landlord assets
  • Leading engineering operations during shift
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Supporting critical plant operations and fault response
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors when required
  • Assisting with shutdowns and planned maintenance activities
  • Ensuring all compliance procedures and site documentation are maintained
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with the client at all times
  • Providing technical support and leadership to shift engineers
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and operational performance

This is a client-facing role where clear communication, professionalism, and strong organisational skills are essential. Previous experience within critical environments or datacentre-style maintenance contracts.
