We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to shape the future of user experiences across our digital news platforms. You will drive the design strategy, craft intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces, and lead a team of designers to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our global audience. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital news landscape, user behavior, and innovative design practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design Strategy and Execution:

  • Define and drive the UX/UI design strategy aligned with business goals and audience needs.

  • Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web, mobile, and emerging platforms.

  • Ensure designs enhance readability, engagement, and accessibility for diverse audiences.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support.

  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and experimentation.

User Research and Insights:

  • Collaborate with product managers and researchers to gather user insights.

  • Translate user needs and business objectives into design solutions.

  • Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with editorial, product, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive designs.

  • Present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Advocate for the user in all phases of product development.

  • Stay updated on design trends, technologies, and best practices in digital news.

  • Incorporate cutting-edge solutions to enhance storytelling and user interaction.

Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain consistency in design systems and brand identity across platforms.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
