We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join us for our most ambitious project to date at The Barbary Notting Hill! We bring the Barbarian experience to the Notting Hill neighbourhood with the iconic Barbary horseshoe kitchen counter, the beloved elemental cooking of The Barbary and a dedicated cocktail bar.
You’ll be passionate about ingredient‑led cooking and accomplished in the hustle and bustle of a high‑energy kitchen environment. From prep to service, ensuring consistency and outstanding quality in everything we do is essential to our vibrant culinary experience. Excited to be part of a collaborative and supportive team, our chefs pride themselves on their close‑knit camaraderie and shared commitment to excellence.
You will share your knowledge and best practices to assist in the training of new chefs. Curious and keen to learn and grow, under the tutelage of our Head Chef Daniel Alt, you'll develop your understanding of North African cuisine, ingredients, and new techniques like mastering the Robata grill or the Gozney oven.
A vibrant personality ready to engage with our guests is essential. In our open kitchen, you will get to share your expertise and witness their faces light up with enthusiasm as they watch our dishes come to life.
We offer a balanced rota, with a variety of daytime and evening shifts, and internal growth opportunities. You will have the opportunity to develop your career in an ambitious and award‑winning restaurant group.
Additional benefits include:
- Up to £2,000 Employee Referral Scheme available to all.
- Paid development courses – WSET, Watershed and more.
- Generous staff discount of up to 50% across all our Studio Paskin venues.
- Cost price wine and supplier discounts.
- Enhanced parental leave package.
- Partnership with Kelly's Cause and automatic enrolment onto Hospitality Action’s Employee Assistance Programme – access to counselling, remote GP/physio services, legal advice, and more.
We believe that taking care of our team isn’t an extra perk – it’s our responsibility. At work, you will always have access to free staff meals, proper breaks, and Mental Health First Aid‑trained managers to support you.
We are committed to creating spaces where everyone feels comfortable and valued for who they are. We celebrate diversity and encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Our success at The Barbary Notting Hill and its sister venues at Studio Paskin is underpinned by an open‑minded, compassionate and enthusiastic belief in the power of heartfelt hospitality.
