The Bannatyne Group is seeking a dedicated and energetic Swimming Instructor with a passion for swimming and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. You will play a key role in delivering our high-quality swimming lesson programme, helping children develop essential water skills while creating confidence and enjoyment in the pool.

This position predominantly requires availability on Wednesday evenings during school times, with possible Tuesday ad-hoc cover.

A typical day in the life of a Swimming Instructor includes:

  • Delivering structured swimming lessons in line with the ASA Learn to Swim framework.
  • Providing high-quality teaching that caters to a range of abilities and age groups.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants at all times.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and guardians to encourage engagement and progression.
  • Maintaining accurate registers and progress records for all swimmers.
  • Working collaboratively with the Swim School and site team to ensure the smooth running of the programme.
  • Following all safeguarding, health and safety, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Being available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
