This role is located in Manchester.Role OverviewWe are looking for highly analytical engineers who excel at designing and building AI-driven solutions for complex enterprise problems. The role focuses on strong logical thinking, algorithmic problem solving,and system design to develop scalable AI-enabled capabilities across data platforms and applications.The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full lifecycle of AI solution development - from problem formulation and model selection to system integration and deployment - while emphasizing sound engineering principles and architectural thinking. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Design and develop AI-powered solutions to solve complex enterprise data and analytics problemsTranslate ambiguous business problems into structured AI/ML approaches and algorithmsBuild scalable architectures for AI solutions, including model pipelines, data processing, and decision systemsCollaborate with platform, data, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systemsEvaluate and experiment with emerging AI methodologies and frameworks to improve solution effectivenessDocument solution design, assumptions, and algorithms for enterprise adoptionTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Education: Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, AI, Data Science, or related quantitative fieldExperience in software development with additional experience on AI based frameworksSkills:Strong analytical and algorithmic problem-solving skillsSolid understanding of machine learning concepts, statistical methods, and AI techniquesAbility to design scalable AI systems and architecturesStrong logical reasoning and mathematical thinkingExposure to AI assisted experimentation and evaluation frameworksExperience translating business problems into algorithmic solutionsAbility to work with large and complex datasetsStrong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex conceptsAt BNY, our culture allows us to run our company better and enables employees’ growth and success.
