We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support to join our Execution Services Production Support team. This role is located in London.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Work closely with the Fixed Income and Equities (FIEQ) business and technology development teams to administer and support trading applications and workflows across all FIEQ asset classes.
  • Build, manage and cultivate relationships with all internal and external trading technology stakeholders and departments, including front office sales and trading, middle office and operations, compliance as well as external technology providers to the firm.
  • Learn and improve critical business functions through the use and support of FIEQ trading technology developed and deployed at the firm along the market making workflow, including securities pricing, offerings, trade execution, trade capture and straight through processing to downstream systems.
  • Investigate, manage and drive solutions to technological issues for our business partners to provide top tier service, timely restoration and response times for our partners.
  • Manage and provide production oversight and control functions to improve stability and awareness of all changes to the trading technology environment.
  • Learn and participate in the development, deployment and utilization of various monitoring systems to improve issue visibility and provide proactive high-quality support.
  • Work and collaborate as part of a dynamic and fast paced global team to support an international business across all three major regions including New York, London and Singapore.
  • Support daily technology workflows through batch monitoring, client and user onboarding and administration of Fixed Income and Equity technology applications.
  • Support and monitor daily business critical batch processes to ensure quality and delivery.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Hands-on experience in the Production Services in a Financial Services or equivalent professional environment.
  • Experience in common fixed income and equity trading platforms such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, Fidessa, Realtick, Trafix, BrokerTec.
  • Understanding of RFQ OTC product offering workflows.
  • Fixed Income asset class product knowledge and understanding, including Corporate Bonds, Municipal Bonds, Rates and Rates Derivatives, Mortgages, Commercial Paper, Certificates of Deposit, Futures and Equities.
  • Possess good organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to anticipate any potential issues.
  • High sense of urgency as it pertains to business needs, ability to multitask and work in a high input environment.
  • Experience and participation in Disaster Recovery exercises.
  • Experience in providing support for different technologies and platforms (Windows, Linux, Cloud, Rest Service, Webservice, MQs, Kafka etc).
  • Experience in Automation improvements (Scripting, DevOps).
  • Good technical knowledge in supporting Java, .Net, Unix Shell script, Datawarehouse based applications.
  • Good knowledge and working experience on automation/monitoring tools like Ansible, Selenium, Moogsoft, Thousandeye, Prometheus, etc.
  • Strong hands-on experience in UNIX and Scripting knowledge (python, shell).
  • Working knowledge of SQL Databases & basic network configuration.
  • Batch Monitoring & Job scheduling tools like ESP, Autosys & Control M.
  • Good working experience in setting up and using monitoring tools (App D, Splunk, MoogSoft).
  • Willingness to work in shifts and weekends on a rotational basis.
