Overview
In this role you will lead the strategic plan to manage and grow key client relationships within the Clearance and Collateral team in London. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client leadership, drive cross-functional collaboration, and pursue opportunities for account expansion. You’ll monitor client needs, performance, and risk to ensure strategic alignment with firm offerings. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for growing existing client relationships.
- Advise senior client leadership on achieving short- and long-term objectives.
- Manage moderate to large, high-potential accounts with complex needs regionally or globally.
- Escalate client satisfaction issues and advocate for the client across the firm.
- Collaborate across platforms and lines of business to identify growth opportunities.
- Promote services and products to address client challenges and drive account growth.
- Research client issues and bring them to resolution; own specific processes or products when appropriate.
- Conduct regular check-ins and ensure continued satisfaction and alignment with offerings.
- Track, report, and develop relationship strategy and metrics for assigned portfolio.
- Coordinate with business development to implement RM strategy; monitor onboarding and risk management activities (KYC, BAC, etc.).
- Attend industry events to stay current on trends; provide guidance to junior RM staff as needed.
- No direct reports; provide mentorship to less experienced RMs.
- Achieve organic growth and profitability targets within the client portfolio.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced/graduate degree preferred
- Extensive work experience in financial services and client-facing roles
- Experience in Relationship Management, Client Services or Account Management
- Leadership experience with high-performance client coverage teams and revenue strategy
