In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Lead complex, end to end AI solution development.

On BNY’s AI platform ELIZA—from problem shaping and experimentation to deployment, adoption, and measurable business impact.

Provide technical direction to pods; guide prioritization, trade offs, and architecture decisions across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Governance.

Design and embed responsible AI practices into solutions—clear evaluation methods, transparency standards, risk controls, and human oversight patterns—while helping shape the AI Hub’s responsible AI framework.

Partner with platform teams to deliver scalable, observable, secure capabilities; establish drift/quality monitoring and cost aware performance.

Mentor juniors; uplift engineering quality via documentation, reusable accelerators, and communities of practice.

Contribute to AI Hub standards, reference architectures, and platform components.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering/Management (advanced degree preferred).

Significant experience delivering AI/ML in enterprise environments with proven ownership of multi phase or multi pod programs.

Deep applied experience across LLMs/NLP, agentic systems, retrieval architectures, robust evaluation, and enterprise grade delivery.

Demonstrated ability to simplify complexity, set technical direction, and drive outcomes across teams.
