We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Client Executive Manager to join our Global Payments & Trade team as the client coverage for countries in EMEA. This role is located in London, UK.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead and execute the EMEA client coverage and sales strategy across banks and financial institutions for assigned countries.
  • Own achievement of sales, revenue, and liquidity goals for Global Payments & Trade for the assigned countries, including pipeline development, conversion, and disciplined sales management.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Client Executives and Sales professionals across their region, driving talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Enhance BNY’s brand and market presence through strategic client engagement, thought leadership, and partnership with marketing and communications; set and execute the client engagement strategy for target segments.
  • Synergize sales and service by partnering closely with Service leaders to deliver best-in-class client experiences, accelerate issue resolution, and improve client satisfaction and retention.
  • Partner across BNY—product, compliance, risk, legal, finance, and operations—to originate, qualify, and deliver holistic solutions, ensuring adherence to risk appetite and regulatory requirements while enabling commercial success.
  • Build and leverage senior relationships across BNY’s business lines and with external stakeholders to expand wallet share, cross-sell, and drive multi-line collaboration for enterprise growth.
  • Establish and track segment-specific KPIs (e.g., new client wins, cross-sell penetration, NPS/client satisfaction, sales cycle velocity, liquidity mobilization, and retention) and ensure disciplined governance and reporting.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or relevant graduate degree) preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in sales, client coverage, or relationship management within payments, treasury services, transaction banking, or adjacent financial services.
  • Proven track record of leading large, distributed sales teams to exceed sales, revenue, and liquidity targets across complex corporate and public sector segments.
  • Deep understanding of the bank segment in their countries of coverage; strong familiarity with payments, liquidity, receivables, payables, trade, and related solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across product, compliance, risk, legal, and operations to drive outcomes with strong risk management, regulatory awareness, and client-centric decisioning.
  • People Leadership: Experience building high-performing teams, developing talent at all levels, fostering an inclusive culture, and driving accountability with clear goals and coaching. Skilled in aligning sales and service for superior client outcomes.
  • Proficiency in English, Arabic, and French a must.
