In this strategic role, you will support the Commercial COO in London to shape and implement BNY’s commercial strategy and new operating model. You will work with senior leaders to drive growth, enhance client experience, and improve efficiency across coverage, client service, and product teams. The role focuses on commercial transformation and AI-enabled solutions to deliver measurable impact. You’ll operate in a high‑impact, cross‑functional environment that values innovation and governance.

Responsibilities
- Support the Chief Operating Officer in developing and implementing the commercial strategy and new commercial model
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Coverage and Client Service to drive growth and exceptional client experiences
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including product teams and functional experts
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform strategy and operational decisions
- Oversee development and execution of strategic commercial initiatives and communication
- Tell the story of the commercial transformation to internal and external stakeholders
- Foster innovation with a focus on practical AI applications via BNY's AI Hub
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to policies
Key requirements
- Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in financial services
- Proven track record of driving business growth, improving efficiency, and enhancing client experience
- Strong understanding of commercial strategy and sales operations and enablement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strategic thinking, complex data analysis, and informed decision-making
- Strong business acumen with knowledge of the financial services industry and market trends
- Fluency in languages other than English is a plus
