We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fund Settlements Supervisor to join our Fund Settlements team. Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisers across EMEA. We provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle office capabilities with execution, settlement and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise. This role is located in Manchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Supervising a small team of employees covering Fund Settlements.
  • Responsible for ensuring all BAU tasks are completed on time and in line with the SLD.
  • Acting as the day-to-day liaison and point of contact on all Fund Settlement matters.
  • Responsible for approving and releasing manual payments in accordance with policies.
  • Collaborating with multiple operational teams including Cash Management & Fund Dealing.
  • Responding to client and Fund Manager/Transfer Agent queries in a timely manner.
  • Monthly preparation of KRIs, Client Billing, Scorecard, Account Ownership and other required reports internally.
  • Co-ordinating reconciliations and ensuring that all daily and other breaks are resolved within required timescales.
  • Performing further CASS related tasks including client money & shortfall calculations & raising client asset breaches.
  • Testing for releases, functional changes, and ad-hoc testing which can include weekend and early morning tests.
  • Ensuring Team’s procedures are reviewed & accurately updated.
  • Ensuring Team’s documents/folders are kept and maintained in line with Records Management policy.
  • Ensuring Team’s Business Continuity plan is accurately maintained and periodic review tasks and deadlines successfully met.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Essential:

  • Must have experience of team and performance management.
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel including confident use of formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
  • Must have experience of producing documentation of a management standard and running initiatives/responsibilities independently.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of phone based liaison.

Desirable:

  • Fund/Financial services experience.
