Senior Associate, Client Processing Oversight

Location: Manchester, UK
Role: Senior Associate, Client Processing Oversight – part of the UK Transfer Agency team.

Role Overview

This role drives operational excellence across client processing for Transfer Agency functions. Key duties include transaction processing, records maintenance, payment and reconciliation activities, as well as analysis of operational data to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. The Senior Associate supports the Operations Manager with workflow management, training, development, and participates in periodic reviews and audits with internal and external stakeholders. All activities are performed in compliance with regulatory requirements such as CASS, COLL, COBS, DISP, GDPR and Consumer Duty.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct oversight of operational processing, ensuring client service standards are met or exceeded.
  • Investigate and resolve day‑to‑day operational queries, issues and incidents.
  • Perform reconciliations, record maintenance and payment processing with high accuracy.
  • Maintain and refine procedures, guidelines, and checklists for Transfer Agency activities.
  • Support workflow management, training, and development within the team.
  • Participate in periodic role‑specific reviews and audits with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to monitor performance and recommend continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in settlement and payments operations or related financial services operational roles.
  • Knowledge of CASS and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Hands‑on experience performing reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset.
  • Preferred: willingness to develop personal skills in AI/Digital Tools.
