The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.
Your key responsibilities
Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests. As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:
- Be the first contact and provide a flawless welcome to our discerning guests
- Ensure that our exceptional service standards are met from arrival to set the tone of their luxury spa experience
- Ensure the expectations of our guests are met at all times
- Act naturally in all your communications
- Be the friendly, confident face behind our spa reception desk
- Offer our guests a warm, intuitive, and personalised greeting
- Be knowledgeable of the hotel and our products
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Undertake a range of administrative tasks, take spa bookings for treatments, and sell our products
- Work closely with all departments to create a seamless and unique experience for our guests
